Symphonic works have often emphasized the splendor of strings, and overlooked the more subtle beauty of the winds. Tonight we showcase the GSSO’s acclaimed wind section, featuring works of Mozart, Strauss, Stravinsky and Dvorak that are guaranteed to stir emotion and feeling.
