15th Season Celebration: From Baroque to Beethoven
Maestro Babb and the orchestra kick off the season with a high-energy performance of the Beethoven 8th. This is one of Beethoven's sunniest works and always delights. Local oboists Margaret Herlehy and Thomas Sheldon will perform one of Vivaldi's masterpieces.

November 8, 2008 at 8 p.m.
Bach is Back
The Bach family had talent. It was not just Dad and the GSSO will illustrate that fact in this special evening. Local soloists Elliott Markow and Margaret Herlehy perform the Johann Sebastian Bach Concerto for Violin and Oboe and the orchestra performs works of J.S. along with Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, and Johann Christian Bach.

December 14, 2008 at 3 p.m.
Holiday Pops
Young and old have a wonderful time as the orchestra celebrates the holiday season with the ever-popular Holiday Pops concert. This concert features a local school chorus, sing-a-long, and the best in holiday music. Maestro Babb entertains and charms all that attend.

March 21, 2009 at 8 p.m.
The Battle of the Geniuses
Mendelssohn may have been the greatest musical genius ever. Mozart may have been the greatest musical genius ever. Utilizing the talents of local soloists Gregg Pauley and Paul Dykstra we will "debate" that topic this evening. The results of that "discussion" will probably be that each was so gifted we cannot make a decision and that the audience will be thoroughly entertained.
May 9, 2009 at 8 p.m.
Broadway on Prince Street
Two local musical organizations get together to celebrate the glory of the Broadway stage entitled "Broadway Pops". The Concord Chorale and the Granite State Symphony Orchestra meet again for another wonderful evening of song.
